ASTU alumni news- Yohannes Melese, gold medalist and dual major graduate of ASTU!
Yohannes
Melese , graduated from Adama Science and Technology University with a dual
major degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer
Science and Engineering. Yohannes has worked hard over the years, focusing
not just on learning but excelling in his fields of study. His dedication
has resulted in a CGPA of 3.98, with 47 A+ grades – a testament to his passion
and persistence. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding for
Yohannes and he is deeply grateful for the education and opportunities he
has received at ASTU. “I wish to express my sincere thanks to my
lecturers, classmates, family, and friends for their unwavering support
and encouragement. I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my career, where
I will apply my knowledge and skills to real-world engineering
challenges. I am particularly excited about combining my expertise in
Electronics & Communication and Computer Science to contribute to the
field of technology.” Yohannes is one of the delegates to represent ASTU
on international arena. He will take part in ACPC programming
contest to be held in Cairo from November 17th -21/2023. If the team manages to
get rank in this competition, they will qualify for the world
final.
